Attend a free screening of Ginger at Loyola University Chicago on Sunday, March 15. A reception with Ginger co-directors Melissa and Jimmy Boratyn begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by the movie screening at 7 p.m. A Q&A with the directors will be held immediately after the film. The event will be held in Loyola’s Damen Cinema in the Damen Student Center. It is sponsored by Loyola’s Department of Programming and LUC Film Space.

Join us on February 13 for an exciting Galentine’s Day screening of Ginger at Chicago’s Athenaeum Theatre. The first Ginger screening of 2020 is presented by Cook County Commissioner Bridget Degnen. It is co-sponsored by 46th District State Representative Deb Conroy, 12th District State Senator Sara Feigenholtz, 18th District State Representative Robyn Gabel, 47th Ward Alderman Matt Martin, 43rd Ward Alderman Michele Smith, 7th District State Senator Heather Steans, 32nd Ward Alderman Scott Waguespack, and 11th District State Representative Ann M. Williams. We also appreciate the support of our community partners, the Cook County Commission on Women's Issues, Liberty Mutual, and Norwegian Hospital.

Directors Melissa and Jimmy Boratyn will be in attendance to answer questions, and you can even meet and mingle with them before the movie during our private meet and greet from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm! Ginger will then screen at 7pm, followed by a director Q&A.

Missed our Chicago premiere at the Logan Theater? You’re in luck! We are having a screening at the Century 12 Evanston to benefit the American Cancer Society and help further Ginger’s mission! We will be selling raffles, merchandise, and following the show we will have a Q&A with the filmmakers. We are so excited to see you there!

Ginger the movie is proud to be partnering with the American Cancer Society on our first ever fundraiser screening at the historic Logan Theater.

This will be the Chicago premiere of Ginger. Doors open at 4:30pm and Ginger will screen at 5pm followed by a short address from the directors. We encourage all our guests to join us after the screening in the Logan Theater Lounge where we'll have information on breast cancer, merchandise for sale, time to talk to the filmmakers, and a fully stocked bar!
